Welcome to The S.N.A.P.
THE SPAY NEUTER ACTION PROJECT
We are a 100% volunteer
organization and every dollar goes directly to pay for spay and neuter procedures.

Our Mission is to Spay and Neuter Pets
Our mission is to reduce the number of companion animals being euthanized due to animal shelter overcrowding by providing free spay and neuter programs to animal rescue organizations and the general public.
According to the Humane Society of the United States, one un-spayed female dog and her offspring can produce more than 11,000 puppies in their lifetime. Likewise, one un-spayed female cat and her offspring can produce more than 60,000 kittens in their lifetime.
-Feb 13, 2024
544 spay/neuters done as of 4/09/2025

Rescue Volunteer

“Spaying and neutering pets remains a critically important service as it not only prevents unwanted litters but helps reduce the number of homeless animals ending up in shelters. We are grateful to SNAP for stepping up and helping address this significant need in our community.”
Allison Lindquist
President/CEO | East Bay SPCA

Every day, animals languish or die in shelters. There just aren’t enough homes for the millions that enter the system. If we can stem the tide of unwanted litters, we can help save the lives of those who face unfortunate circumstances. And as a bonus, we can reduce the risk of reproductive cancers in beloved companions. We need organizations like Snap to provide the resources so many guardians want and need.
